Lanta Old Town : a visit to the Lanta Old Town is a must. Located on the eastern side of Koh Lanta, this is a small quaint village inhabited by Thai fishing families, Chinese merchants and a community of sea gypsies. You’ll also find a Buddhist temple, Chinese temple, an art gallery and a selection of restaurants which give it a contemporary feel.

Lanta National Marine Park : Situated at the southern tip of the island, at the end of a spectacular coastal drive is the National Marine Park. The park itself has picnic areas, toilets & showers and two nice beaches, Had Hin Ngam and Had Tanod. There is an interesting one hour walk through beautiful, unspoiled jungle, starting at the Park Headquarters and offering excellent nature-watching opportunities along the way. The small light house, a well-known symbol of Koh Lanta stands on the southern point of the cliff-face, and is a popular spot for taking photos of the fantastic panoramic view.
